Families and guests from out-of-town who require accommodation while visiting patients, residents and clients in the hospital may be eligible for discounted rates at hotels, lodges and other accommodations in Saskatoon.

To qualify for discounted rates (from facilities that offer them), families and guests must fill out a Hotel Lodge Form (PDF) and have it signed by a staff member on the patient's unit.

Hotel Lodge Form​

The hotels, lodges and other accommodations in the Hotel Lodge Form are listed according to their proximity to Saskatoon's three hospitals. Although some facilities offer discounted rates for families and guests visiting patients in hospital, not every facility does.

Authorization

The Hotel Lodge Form must be authorized in order for all patients and their families or guests to receive discounted rates (from the facilities offering them). Authorization can be obtained from a Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon City Hospital or St. Paul's Hospital staff member in one of the following areas:

• Social Work
• Spiritual Care
• Cancer Centre
