Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory issued at Saskatoon City Hospital
Effective immediately, a precautionary drinking water advisory has been issued for Saskatoon City Hospital. This means tap water should not be consumed but can be used for toilet flushing and normal hand hygiene.

This is in connection to a significant drop in water pressure in the area. We are working with the City of Saskatoon to determine whether this is in connection to the water main break in downtown Saskatoon last night.

In addition, no tap water will be used in sterile procedures or surgeries. Alternate sources of water are being brought in to ensure procedures can continue today, although some delays may be experienced. Saskatoon Health Region will connect with patients on an individual basis if there is a delay in their procedure. If you have any questions or concerns about your planned procedure at City Hospital this week, please call 306-655-0567 or toll free 1-866-543-6767.

The precautionary drinking water advisory for Saskatoon City Hospital will be in place for at least the next 24 hours.

Water testing is ongoing and updates will be provided.
