​PET CT is a test that combines PET (Positron Emission Tomography) to show cell or  metabolic functions and a CT scanner that shows detailed anatomical structure on one machine.

By combining these two technologies physicians can more accurately diagnose, localize and monitor cancer as well as hearth disease and certain brain disorders.
