Children and Youth - Interdisciplinary Pediatric Complex Pain Clinic

​Who We Serve

  • Children age 6 to 17 years who have all of the following:
    • Referred by pediatrician or physician subspecialist
    • Chronic pain (>3 months) of any type or location
    • Missing school due to pain
    • Willing and able to benefit from medical, physical and psychological therapies
    • Not currently a candidate for palliative care
    • Able to attend clinic visits with at least one parent or guardian

Making a Referral

  • No new forms required
  • Referral letter should include:
    • Results of pediatric consultation
    • Summary of relevant clinical history, physical findings, investigations, diagnosis, response to previous treatment and ongoing concerns
