School

If your child will be in hospital for more than three (3) school days, we can arrange for your child to attend classes in hospital. We have school teachers on site during the school year who work with children and teenagers staying for long periods of time in hospital

If possible, we can also see if school books can be brought to your child in their room.

Recreational Therapy

When your child is hospitalized, recreation therapy provides a healing escape for play. Our recreational therapist will assist and encourage your child to participate in a variety of activities.

When part of a your child's coordinated care plan, our expert therapist can make sure your child receives daily stimulation and recreation, while modifying activities to meet your child's needs. Activities are age appropriate and range from arts and crafts to games to pet therapy and social events for all ages.
